About thirty seconds later, his phone lit up again, displaying Jennies name this time.

Tyrone hesitated and then answered, Jennie, whats going on?

Keilanis anxious voice came through. Tyrone, hurry to the hospital. Jennies been hit by a car and is in surgery!

Tyrones expression turned serious upon hearing this. He promptly inquired about the hospitals location as he made his way out.

Twenty minutes later, Tyrone reached the emergency surgery ward.

The surgery light was still on. Keilani was sitting on a bench, looking pale and anxiously twisting her shirts hem. Her Lips were pressed tightly, and she looked extremely worried and frightened.

Tyrone then pulled out his cell phone, dialed a number, and stepped aside to the fire exit. After informing the police, he made a call to Kylan.

Keilani appeared anxious, casting glances at Tyrone now and then.

Tyrone remained silent and took a seat to wait.

Roughly thirty minutes later, the operating rooms red light switched to green. A nurse wheeled Jennie out, now connected to an IV drip.

A bandage wrapped around her head only left her face visible. Are you her parents? Shes no longer in danger, but shes suffered quite a bit and needs plenty of rest.

A wave of relief washed over Keilani. Thank heavens!

Jennie was then taken to her ward.

Seeing Jennies usually vibrant face now pale and tired, Tyrone felt a deep sadness and asked, May I know when will she wake up?

The nurse replied, She should wake up in about thirty minutes to an hour. If she experiences severe pain upon waking, you can administer the painkiller. She shouldnt eat until four hours post-surgery. Start with liquids to ensure she can easily digest her food.
